Installing ODBC |
ODBC drivers for Microsoft SQL Server and Access are normally installed with development tools such as Visual Studio or the SQL Client Utilities.
Alternatively the latest drivers can be obtained from the Microsoft web site
Drivers for Oracle databases are installed with the Oracle Client Utilities or can be downloaded from http://otn.oracle.com/software/content.html.
Database products not explicitly supported by Visual Case can usually be reverse engineered through an ODBC link. Visual Case will convert the data types to the equivalent type in one of Visual Case’s supported database types. Most database vendors supply ODBC drivers on their web sites.
