Object Mapping |
Visual Case allows you to map instances of most objects in your project. The most obvious use of this feature is to show the same object on multiple diagrams without having to re-enter the object properties.
Object mapping isn't just limited to the objects that you drop on a diagram. For example, you can re-use an attribute in multiple classes without having to re-enter its properties each time. When you do change a property of the attribute, it will change everywhere.
Drag an object from the explorer to your diagram to create a new instance of it.
Or, you can add a new object of the correct type to your
diagram. Then
open the object's property page and click on the ellipses button that
is displayed to the right of the object name on the property page. You'll
be given a list of available objects of the correct type to choose from.
