Report Wizard

To print a report select Tools Report Wizard from the menu.  Select one of the available report types and follow the steps of the wizard.

Visual Case offers four classes of reports:

• Entity Reports
  
  This report is flexible and simple.  It allows you to create a simple listing by type of some or all of the entities in your project.  You can choose to include entity descriptions.

• Data Flow Reports
  
  These allow you to report on the links that appear on your Data Flow Diagrams (Data Flows and Control Flows).

• UML Reports
  
  Visual Case offers seven flexible UML Reports:
  
  - Use Case Report
  - Class Report
  - Class Association Report
  - Dependency Report
  - Status Report
  - Activity Report
  - Message Report

• Database Reports
  
  Visual Case has three built-in database reports: a Table report, a Stored Procedure report and a View report.  All three reports are highly flexible.
   

Regardless of the type of report that you are creating, the wizard will take you through the same steps:

1. Select database to report on (database reports only).

2. Select the objects that you want included in your report.

3. Customize the report.

4. Preview the report.
