UML Tour - Sequence Diagram

Visual Case includes two interaction diagrams: sequence and collaboration.  Both serve to show the dynamic messages between objects but provide a different layout for the task.

The Sequence diagram shows time on the up and down axis.  Messages lower down on the diagram happen after those higher up.  In Visual Case it’s easy to quickly drop sequences onto a diagram, line them up and connect them with messages.
